180 Degrees South
Woodshed Films brings the story of Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia and his journey to that wild place in Chile that started his whole deal. Told through the remake of that journey done by Keith Malloy , Jeff Johnson, and southbound climbing/sailing/surfing crew.
The story also deals with keeping our wild spaces Wild and Chile's Rivers flowing free. Proposed and already existing dams are causing much frustration, damage, and the end of important ecosystems in and around Patagonia National Park.
Super cool guy, awesome photographer, friend of mine and epic cinematographer Scott Soens shot some of the stunning scenery and action in the film.
Plus the website is awesome, one of the coolest I've seen.
